Grant Given to Minburn Community Betterment Group
Iowa Network Services, Inc. and Minburn Telephone Company d/b/a Minburn Communications is pleased to announce that the Minburn Community Betterment Group is an award recipient of the Iowa Network Services Charity Grant Program.
INS created this charity grant program to increase its service and support to the communities it serves and to help bring INS closer to its customers.
INS presents this award in conjunction with Minburn Communications. Minburn Communications provides telecommunication services to the community of Minburn and supported the grant application submitted by the Minburn Community Betterment Group.
Funding from the INS Charity Grant will be used to support the “Meet Me in Minburn” summer series band concerts. “Meet Me in Minburn” was created to initiate the funding for economic development projects projected for the future. The “Meet Me in Minburn” concert series are scheduled the third Saturday in June, July, and September. The events are free outdoor concerts at the Big Heart Roller Rink Stage with a community sponsored dinner before the concert.
Minburn Communications currently provides local and long distance telephone services, cable TV services, and Internet services – including both high speed and dial-up. Additionally, the company also provides i wireless, wireless service. Plans are available to serve individuals, families and business customers that need wireless voice or text messaging capabilities, with many different handsets from which to choose.
