The City of Minburn, Iowa is now accepting applications for a City Clerk part-time OR full time.
This position reports to the Mayor and City Council. Will be responsible for all financial activities of the City, including, but not limited to: Account payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, all financial reports, state and federal reports, council meeting minutes, resolutions, ordinances, budget preparation, human resources, and general office management. Must be able to work well with the public. Computer skills are necessary. Preference given for course work in accounting and/or bookkeeping: and/or an equivalent combination of accounting/bookkeeping experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be bondable. Must possess and maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license. Salary DOQ.
